Face ID won't work with my new glasses!

I just purchased a new pair of glasses from Zenni Optical with their EyeQLenz™ Anti-Infrared Lenses

I received them yesterday, and now my Face ID won't work....apparently, because these lenses block Infrared, Face ID won't allow me to even set up an Alternate Appearance with them (it says there's an obstruction).

Is there any way to "bypass" or select an option that would allow me to use Face ID with these glasses?

If not, then EVERY TIME I need to use my phone, I have to lift up my glasses (which is ridiculous).

This just happened to me as well and from my understanding there is not a way to bypass it; it's a feature, not a bug - Face ID uses IR technology. Zenni needs to make it clear on their website that these lenses are not compatible with Face ID.
