SharePlay not Share Playing

In the past 2-3 weeks SharePlay has gone from poor to bad to worse. Before it was causing issues when trying to share music through Spotify or Apple Music but it would come through after a couple of tries. Now it completely refuses to work or worse, plays one song on one device and a completely different song on the other device. The controls are all over the place - pausing on one side works as play on the other and similar issues like that. Why are these features introduced if they don't work... All the while I am paying but unable to use the features. Come on Apple ... you're seriously falling behind. I love you guys but your standards are slipping. It should all be about design and aesthetics, functionality and reliability are also as important.
