Is iCloud drive a painfully slow syncing tool ?

Am I alone to live this case ? I have a very small load of files to sync between iPhone, iPad and my desktop and it is taking days to simply sync.

I am also a Dropbox user but in this case, I am so very happy about the speed, efficiency and support.

I upgraded my iCloud storage for my photos and intended to use it also for documents.

Is there any way to get efficiency from iCloud Drive ?

In general, Syncing should not take days. However if you are making an initial sync of photos into iCloud Photos that sync may indeed take a long time depending on the size of your album. Subsequent syncs take very little time.

Some time ago, I uploaded 100 Mb of photos. It took an interminable 12 hours. I suggest sticking with Dropbox.
