Hey, I have a 12.9 inch iPad Pro and a Magic Keyboard. Everything was working, but all of a sudden the letters a s d f g h j k l are not working on the Magic Keyboard. The symbols ; ‚ \ that are in the same row however are fine , so is the shift button.
i tried updating the iPad, cleaning the connectors and nothing. I just find it strange that it’s a single row of letters….
any other ideas of how I could fix this?
As described, your Keyboard may have a fault. If you have access to another compatible iPad - and the problem is consistent between devices - you will have confirmed presence of a fault. A defective Magic Keyboard cannot be repaired - only replaced.
If you don't have access to another compatible iPad with which to perform the test, you would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess both your Magic Keyboard and your iPad.
