iphone 13 pro screen replacement

My iPhone 13 Pro screen recently broke and I got it replaced at a local phone shop. Was told it would cost £315 for an original iPhone 13 Pro screen. Since getting the replacement, I no longer have 120hz and the True Tone feature is gone. I went back and was told it could be software related. Is this true or is it a fake screen? I’ve never had any Apple related products before this so I’m not sure how everything works. Any help would be appreciated.

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17

No, it is not software. It isn’t a “fake” screen if it mostly works, but only a genuine Apple screen supports TrueTone, auto-brightness and 120 hz. I think you were also overcharged; see the calculator here to see what Apple would have charged for a genuine screen→iPhone Screen Repair & Replacement - Official Apple Support
