How to make iPad screen icon layout match iPhone

Would like to have my iPad icons be in the same place they are on my iPhone

Given that the screen size and screen aspect-ratio of iPad and iPhone are totally different, it is impossible to mirror the Home Screen layout between iPad and iPhone.


The best that you can hope to achieve is to manually arrange your App icons, App folders and Widgets to best mimic the two different screen layouts - accepting that you may need to have fewer Apps and App folders per Home Page than the device itself may accommodate.
