Reconnecting iPhone via wifi to MacBook

How do you get Finder to 'look' for an iPhone on the network? Ex: I've already connected via cable and set it up for WiFi sync but if I eject the iPhone how do I reconnect it without having to connect it to a cable again. Right now I have to restart my Macbook.

iPhone not showing in Finder I am trying to access iPhone using Finder on my Mac via WiFi. It always used to work, but now the iphone does not show up in finder. I followed the correct procedures to enable the iphone hotspot and mac wifi. The mac says the iphone is connected, it shows the iphone connected in the wifi drop down list. System settings, network definitely shows the iPhone is connected. But the iphone does not appear in the finder sidebar. The finder settings has iOS Devices enabled. I already followed what it says at If your device doesn’t appear in the sidebar when connected to Mac - Apple Support but it still doesn't work. I recently upgraded from Monterey to Ventura, maybe that's a clue. Suggestions please?

iPhone does not show up in Finder over WiFi I have an iPhone 12 running 17.0.1 and a MacBook Pro 16-inch 2023 running 13.4.1. I would like to sync the phone to the computer over WiFi, but it does not show up in the Finder. The phone does show up when connected via USB. The phone does properly back up via USB. "Show this phone on Wi-Fi" is checked. Both the iPhone and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. There are no other network issues I can see. The phone and computer use the same Apple ID in case that matters. What could be in the way here? I've tried turning "Private Wi-Fi Address" on and off but it doesn't seem to do anything, and it seems strange to have to turn that off to sync wirelessly. What items should be on my troubleshooting list?
