External screen cycling through colours

I have a new Mac mini and an LG external monitor. Often when the Mac mini goes into sleep mode the screen starts cycling through colours and I can’t seem to interrupt it or how to fix it can anyone help??

MAC Studio 2022 M1 Max and Samsung S8 27" Viewfinity 4K issues Multiple issues I discover when I either awaken it from sleep or out of screensaver. I have dual monitors of the same make/model side by side. If I manually set it to sleep only one monitor goes dark, the other stays on. When I awaken it from sleep or from screensaver the screens are arranged backwards OR the Samsung splash screens are visible and will not go away OR one of the screens won't come back at all as though it lost power but it hasn't. It's a coin toss on what I will discover when I awaken it. No matter what condition they are in when I awaken the Studio, the only way to correct the issues is unplug the power from the monitors to get rid of the Samsung splash screens as well as the monitors to work again and manually arrange them back in order. I have taken my studio to Apple and they said its ok. I have called Samsung and they said it ok. Sure could use some insight into what's going on.

Mac Studio and LG Ultrafine display keeps going to black I've just bought a Mac Studio and have it connected to my old LG Ultrafine display. After about a minute on the screensaver, the screen goes black. I've changed all the Lock Screen and Energy Saver settings - as instructed by Apple - but it keeps happening. It's really annoying because I want to leave the dynamic screensaver on while I'm working on my other Macbook and monitor, but it keeps going to black. Can anybody help?

How do I fix heavy screen flickering on Mac mini M2 with Dell U2722D monitor? I'm using a MacMini M2 with a Dell U2722D monitor. There is heavy flickering when screen is dark. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

1) The latest macOS versions are having various issues with automatic computer sleep mode.

As a test:

Turn on "Prevent automatic sleeping when display is off" and only allow the display to turn off.

Then just leave the Mac ON with the display OFF and shut down for longer periods of non-use.

2) What display and what cable connection?

If you are using an HDMI cable, replace with a short premium certified HDMI cable.
