iPhone camera problem

This is a problem which has occurred maybe half a year/a year ago and still is unsolved...

Problem description:

Every other time I turn on my iPhone 8 (which is always updated with the latest IOS version) to take DNG raw photos using the Lightroom Mobile app, the display is showing the full picture irrespectively if I will take an "upright' picture of e.g. a standing person or a tall building or a landscape panoramic view.

Ok then the pic is taken, everything is fine, I put the phone in my pocket and continue walking through the city...

Then, assume that 10 minutes later I am inspired to take another picture, say an awesome landscape (panoramic) view,

This is when the problem occurs: The view on the rear iPhone display, is tilted 45 degrees counter-clockwise or clockwise, and I have to tilt my head likewise 45 degrees counter-clockwise to be able to compose the picture!!! The same for vertical or horizontal pics!

! I want to compose and take the pic the NORMAL way!!! Why does the phone itself tilt and make the rear display view smaller in this tilted way at times? Without me having changed anything in the settings? Then suddenly, the next photo after a pause, it’s all back to normal again!!

At times I get so fed up that I take tilted composed pic anyway..., iPhone back into pocket and I continue walking. After having "cooled down my frustration" I try again, and surprisingly is the iPhone back to normal display function.

What am I to do? Throw my Apple iPhone in the garbage or select another software instead of Adobe Lightroom??

The two included pictures above also show the problem: the lower, second picture shows how I want to see the display taking a landscape oriented photo.

But the upper, first photo shows how the camera screen sometimes shows the view when I am composing the picture. No good - have to tilt my head accordingly, it does not help to turn the iPhone to a “portrait” upright position,

then the software also rotates the image 45 degrees counterclockwise!
