Change default save location for Quicktime screen recordings

the same problem as stated here: Change default save location for Quicktim… - Apple Community still exists in Quicktime Player 10.5 (1188.3) / macOS Sonoma 14.4.1

This seems to be a bug, because "Remember last selection" does not work.

What is the best way to bring this to Apple's attention?

QuickTime player menu bar I am trying to screen record in QuickTime. I would like to get the menu bar up in QuickTime visible i.e. icons that include the stop recording button. I can't find them on my Mac? I've seen them used on a tutorial but nothing has been said about the method of getting them visible. I've read through QT tutorial guides but nothing alludes to this? Anyone?

quicktime player screen recording I see big sur has this new toolbar at the bottom for screen recordings... However after you press record this toolbar vanishes... And if you want to stop the recording you can't do that. When I close the program it just says you're gonna loose the recording. So how are you supposed to actually save the recording and stop the recording after you press record in big sur? Thanx
