Is that docking stations fine to charge with?

hey!

I just found a docking station that has the right connectivity for me (it should work with my Macbook Pro 16" m1 pro, and Tinkpad t480)

I know that this station charges at 90w. Is it safe to charge my MacBook with it instead of the 140w charging adopter I got with my MacBook?

i'm afraid it may damage my battery.

this is the docking station

it will be a slower charge, you may never notice... but it will do no harm.

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you help optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.
