My Apple Store app won’t load anymore, as there’s a new version of the app available. The new version requires iOS 16, and my iPad Air 2 isn’t compatible with that operating system - am I locked out of the Apple Store app forever now? (Unless of course I renew my iPad…)

The store is still available online in a web browser such as Safari at apple.com/store
