Streaming on iTunes songs stop mid way thru - on unsecure networks.

Sitting while working in coffee shops and having sufficient up/down speeds. Songs stop intermittently. Pause button is on while it looks like it's playing, it is not scrolling. Doesn't do this when my hot spot is on. Streaming just does this and I cant get enough internet tho there is sufficient speeds to do so. Where is my problem? I am not on the highest quality and I don't want to download the songs. Everyting is up to date.
