I had Catalina OS (10.15.7) and I had to re-install it but since I did it I lost the function that allow me to send any application window to any of my 3 monitors which In my opinion is a great function because allow me to organize my multiples applications to the same monitor in which I need it. I don't understand why isn't working anymore since I had it before re-install Catalina.

Go to Apple > System Preferences > Mission Control > uncheck the boxes for Spaces.

In Extended Desktop Mode (Mirroring Off) you should be able to drag the desired App window to any location on either display.
Of course I can, that's not the problem, the issue is that was a function that allowed me to send the specific application window to the display of my choice and after that, not matter how many times I reboot my iMac, when I open the same app, its window go to the display of my choice every time.

For me windows retention after a restart/startup, has not worked properly since I upgraded to Catalina or any other later macOS.
Bummer, It was working for me in Catalina (I upgraded it from Monterrey maybe that's the reason) before this last re-install.
Open Application Window in the same monitor every time
