the iPad (gen. 2021) is locked since files App got blocked while loading files via usb-c Port. Files app is frozen and iPad does not respond to reboot efforts on support pages
any suggestions ?
will let the iPad run out of battery help and then hopefully files app will be closed as well ?

Deliberately running the iPad's Li-ion battery to exhaustion is a bad idea. If allowed to remain in a fully discharged state (as the iPad is unlikely to be monitored throughout the full discharge cycle) the battery may never recover.
If your iPad is unresponsive, connect your iPad to its Power Adapter and allow the iPad to charge. Then, while still connected to external power, try a forced-restart:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
