iPhone not recognized via usb after upgrade to iTunes 12.13.1

Hi,

running Windows 11, iPhone XS Max

I did a backup of the iPhone on iTunes 12.10, then upgraded iTunes to 12.13.1 and now the iPhone is not recognized by iTunes when connecting via usb. Only change was the iTunes upgrade (didn't want to confuse things with more than one change).

It all worked well with the previous version of iTunes (12.10....) only after the upgrade to iTunes 12.13.1 is the phone not recognized and thus can't be backed up, restored, .....

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,

perhaps the solution is that iTunes 12.13.1 does not work on Windows 11.

I have 12.13.1 working on Windows 10 - works good, as expected.

I downgraded 12.13.1 back to 12.10.11.2 (on Windows 11) and everything works again, as expected. Sees/recognizes the iPhone when connecting via USB, can backup/restore/....
