Time lapse not saving to gallery

Every time I go to take a time lapse, the footage doesn’t get saved to my gallery. Like it just disappears.

It used to work just fine on my iPhone XR but it hasn’t worked at all on my iPhone 14 plus as a result of which I’ve lost hours of important footage. I can’t seem to figure out the cause.

I have ample amount of storage. It does save other media such as video and photos properly. Only the time lapse doesn’t work.

clips app not working with photos I’ve noticed something strange when using photos in the Clips app. When I scroll, pan, zoom, or otherwise interact with a photo in the preview window, it doesn’t show. However, if I save the video and play it back, I can see that my actions were recorded. Also the preview window doesn’t show any other photos besides the 1st one added, It only shows the first photo as a timeline plays out. I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 18.3 and the latest version of Clips, version 3.1.7. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, as well as restarting my phone, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this? And know of a fix 🙏🏾
