Asking for another Apple ID

I created my Apple ID sometime ago but I couldn’t use it to install any apps. After several tries it still didn’t work so an acquaintance put theirs in my phone to help me install apps. Now my Apple ID is working and I can download apps but it won’t allow me update previously downloaded apps. It keeps asking for my acquaintances Apple ID and password to update them which I don’t have any access to. Please what do I do to stop or remove this?
