When starting my MacBook Pro M1 the status bar jumps when I turn it on

I'm running Ventura 13.6.3

M1 2020.

I can't remember what OP system it came with, but Ventura was the next one up, which I upgraded to via the auto option.

First thing, my camera is rubbish, it wouldn't focus, I also have a tremor.

As you can see, when I start my Mac up, the status bar starts to load, then jumps up to the left and back again, continuing to start up.

It works fine though, no problems.

*Way* before I upgraded (and I held off upgrading for months), I had used the reinstallation option the Mac OP came with due to one thing and another, and that's when it started after a reinstallation, so nothing to do with the upgrade.

Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE 1: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

NOTE 2: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will insure a successful boot into Safe Mode.
