The Mail application does not work

The Mail application does not work. Constantly synchronizes unsuccessfully. He writes to check the place. There is enough space. Did everything. I contacted support through all channels. some say they don’t understand what to do, others don’t answer at all. this is surprising and alarming.

Going through your EtreCheck report, here are my comments and recommendations:

First off, completely remove CleanMyMac from your computer. We get numerous posts here about users' Macs performing poorly because that have this app installed.

Second, your Mac security settings have been disabled. Re-enable them to keep your Mac secure.

Third, you have a number of remote access services enabled: Remote Apple Events, Remote Management, Screen Sharing, & Remote Login. Do you need to have any of these enabled? Your Mac is basically configured to let any one from a remote location access to it.

Fourth, your Mac appears to be configured for multiple VPN services. (Express VPN, NordVPN, & WireGuard Betternet VPN) Do you need more than one ... or any at all?

Fifth, your Mac is running a software firewall interface app, Little Snitch. Improperly configured it may prevent certain apps, like Apple Mail, from functioning properly.

Sixth, your Mac's Fusion drive has a somewhat "slow" write speeds. This could indicate a potential failing HDD in the HDD/SSD Fusion pair. An excellent drive troubleshooting tool is DriveDx and I suggest that you consider getting it to verify the health of your Mac's Fusion drive.

I see and yes your iMac is a MESS!!!

Never ever install third party :

  • Antivirus
  • Cleaning
  • VPN
  • Security
  • Maintenance

apps, the do nothing but cause problems !!!

Mac OS Is like a cat in that it maintains itself. It does not require or benefit in ANY way by installing these. Simply keep Mac OS up to date and restart the computer about 1x per week and otherwise leave it alone.
