unknown error when entering apple id password on iphone 8 but works fine on other phones

after updating my iphone 8 i was asked to enter apple id password and i get an unknow error occurred after password entry. it only happens on the one phone. i also cant sign out of apple id on same phone but my 7 works fine without an issue but is now to outdated to update apps. hard reset doesn't work.

Error "This device is already associated with an Apple Account." on iPad I keep getting this error message on my Ipad and cannot figure what to do "This device is already associated with an apple account. If you turn on automatic downloads with your apple account you cannot download past purchases Cancel or Transfer I have tried everything that I could find. It's an Ipad 3 [Re-Titled by Moderator]
