I created a Personal Automation in the shortcuts app that would shutdown my phone at a specific time of day. I listen to an audio app while sleeping and I'm trying to have my phone automatically shutdown about 30-35 minutes after lying down. The problem I am having is that when setting the shortcut to "run immediately," when the specified time for shutdown is reached, there is a prompt that asks me to confirm shutdown instead. How do I resolve this issue so that I can just have my phone shutdown automatically at the specified time. For context, I'm currently running iOS 17.4.1 on my new iPhone 15.

I can confirm that there is no way around the onscreen required confirmation for the “Shut Down” action. This is specific to that action.

Alternatively, to conserve the battery, you could use the actions “Set Airplane Mode”, “Set Wi-Fi” and “Set Bluetooth” to disable those functionalities. The iPhone would use less battery when it’s not connected to networks.

Hello, you could use the sleep timer to achieve the same.

Sleep timer would just set the app to shut down after a specified time. I was attempting to get the phone to shut off automatically via the automated shortcut. I'm just trying to find a way to conserve my battery over time without having to leave my phone on all night. Don't know why this app allows us to create this automated shortcut but then doesn't execute it as instructed.
