I bought a new MacBook Air recently. Tried to open a Book but the window keeps coming up requesting my Apple ID password. It would not accept the password which I know is correct. Frustrated, I changed the password but still would not accept it. Has anyone else come up with the same problems?

On your iPhone, go to Settings > [name on top] > Media & Purchases, and verify that the Apple ID used here is the same as your iCloud ID.
Yes, bought new last November. I purchased and downloaded the book on my phone using Apple Pay.
Used the same Apple ID and password as before.
i wanted to read the book on my Mac. That’s when the problems started.
