Not Your AirPods

I paired my AirPods to my old iPhone. I then disconnected them from the old iPhone to connect them to my new iPhone. After doing the steps PER Apple on unpairing and disconnecting from my old iPhone to my new one, Every time I try to pair my AirPods Pro to my iPhone, it states “Not Your AirPods, Connect”

I attempt to connect and it shows the “Hold Button” screen. I’ll hold the button for several minutes. And nothing happens.

is there something to resolve this issue? Because I’ve been trying to connect my AirPods Pro to my phone for 3 days now. And it continues to show the same thing of “Not Your AirPods”
