After IOS 17.4.1 my battery drains fast and overheating

Hello, iPhone users and supporters! Two days ago, I got an iPhone that was running IOS 16, so there were no problems. As soon as I started looking at the phone, I saw that there was a new version and decided to install. Immediately after the update, the battery began to drop super fast, the device heats up, slowly charges. I've tried all the YouTube tricks to reduce battery drain but nothing helps. I went to two phone repair shops and they told me that the problem was with the update. I have an Iphone 12 MINI and XR, they are also running 17.4.1., but they don't have these problems. I'm asking for help! Are there others like me?

What a load of BS. Sorry to say half my 8 floor building updated to iOS 17.4 and we are ALLLLLLL experiencing battery drain at unprecedented levels even while plugged into a charger. Stop the lies. Apple is doing this on purpose bc ppl holding on to their phones longer

Hope it works for you as well. I am fine now, I get about 10 hours of screen/on time from a full charge and the battery health estimate has stopped dropping.

I guess 17.4 has more than this issue but in my case switching off "Attention-Aware Features" and "Require Attention for Face ID" has completely solved the battery drain problem.

I have also set "Voice & Data" to "LTE" instead of "5G Auto" but this is an orthogonal issue that only affects battery drain at locations with poor 5G coverage.

Before iOS 17.4.1 update my iPhone 12 Pro 265gb would last me a whole day without charging. After updating, the phone will overheat and shut down between 15% to 87% without warning and battery drain is insane, worst of all..it got stuck in a boot loop which lasted 3 days and lucky was I, when it suddenly came back to life, it’s always freezing when playing COD or PUBG, which wasn’t happening before, it was very smooth, Face ID also got disabled and I still can’t find a solution, truetone also disappeared from the phone, only dark mode and night shift are accessible, I had to perfom a hard reset before truetone reappeared and disappeared again and I tried again and still can’t get it back. My phone camera also starts shaking violently when i try taking a picture or video. Everyone can imagine my pain right now. I guess I don’t have an iPhone but an I-problem.
