Ipad alphanumeric passcode, keyboard is not showing, cant enter passcode

I recently got an iPad 11 Pro with aiphanumeric Passcode. I have set an

alfanumeric 6-"digit" passcode. I need to get into the Touch ID &

Passcode settings, in order to change my Touch ID. I get a pop-up with 6

spaces , it shows numbers only with letter benearth but i cannot type the letters, also i cant see any keyboard to type the alphanumeric password. I cannot figure out how to use the letters instead of

numbers. Can someone help?
