Does anyone know how to disable YouTube’s new, annoying screensavers on Apple TV 4K? I specifically unabled my Apple TV to sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity, but now when I pause YouTube it activates screensavers that keep my TV on indefinitely. Some apps, such as ESPN used to do this, then got fixed. This is so stupid, since when does any app activate screensavers that override the device you’re using?

you might need to set the Apple TV screensavers and/or sleep to kick in at 2 minutes to override this. Until YouTube dies something about it. Send feedback to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/tv/feedback
Also having this issue. Reaching out to Google/Youtube is literally impossible since they have no support channels. Apple needs to prevent apps from doing this (or at least force them allow disabling such features). It wastes a ton of power having the TV on permanently and also causes wear and tear on the screen itself.
