I set my apple cash to default and payed for in app purchases, but it wasn't charged

I used my apple cash to pay for in-app purchases, and I successfully got what i purchased, but it says that I didn't get charged at all. I refreshed my phone several times and restarted it, but the balance remained exactly where it was beforehand. Does this charge anything else? I had just removed a separate card from my wallet right before.
