mac photos capture date not working

I changed the capture date of a photo but it did not automatically load into the smart album with date set in it. What's wrong?

Photos Smart Album Capture Date Failure Smart Albums in Photos is not reliably find the correct Capture Date for all my photos. Anything with a date earlier than about 2001, it just looses the plot. I've checked, double checked and twice EXIF data and is all correct. Smart Albums were created sequentially by copying and editing required capture date criteria. After 2001 it just stopped finding photos in my Library. Anyone got a fix for this?

Smart photo date option missing I would like to make a smart album based on the capture date of my photos being older than a certain date. However, date is not an option for the selection criteria! I can see from the Help-documentation and all other documentation, that Date (date taken or capture date) should be available as criteria. I have a mix of scanned photos, photos imported from Canon camera and photos from iPhone. I have MacOS 10.2.2 and Photos version 6.0 (all in Danish)

Mac Photos - export does not include create date information in JPG file Hi I am exporting from Mac Photos using keep original option. In photos when I click on information I see the date the photo was taken. It is also in the right position in the timeline. But after it is exported when I check the exif information there is no create date in the XMP file or in the JPG file (I used exiftool to check). Appreciate if someone can explain why this is happening. This is happening with some photos only. The exported file has incomplete exif information. Is there a way to ensure that the create date is also exported? Thanks. Mac OS 10.13.6
