Static audio Apple tv

The audio on my tv sounds super static-y. I’ve unplugged Apple TV and plugged back in, I’m hooked the HDMI AND PUT BACK, then I restarted Apple TV then I put the tv HDMI IN A DIFF PORT, all to no avail. This has happened before. How do I fix?

I have changed all cables (HDMI, coaxial form TV to DTS amp etc), used different TV's hi-fi systems etc, same problem persists only with the Apple TV. Static on Home Screen I connected my Apple TV via HDMI to my Onkyo receiver. I experience a static type noise when navigating the home screen and most apps or unpausing anything I watch. In googling around, this seems like a fairly common issue, but I cannot find any solution. This does not happen with any other device connected to my receiver, so it is definitely unique to the Apple TV. I have tried replacing all HDMI cables. Any help would be appreciated . . . this is very annoying. Thanks!

apple tv audio on main speakers stops Today, my Apple TV 4K stopped playing audio to the main tv output. Audio to home pods still works. Then with no intervention it sometimes would start up for a while and then shut down. A software update was installed overnight and this is the first time that I used it after the update.

Try replacing the cable?
