I lost my phone and apple is not giving me replacement although I am on +apple care insurance

I'm writing this regarding my claim about my lost device( IPHONE 15 PLUS) that I lost on 22nd of March 2024 in Oxford street London. I have AppleCare+

with Theft and Loss insurance on that device. I submitted my first claim and paid excess fee of £109 for device replacement but the claim was unapproved with the reason that "find my" was not

enabled on my device. That's not true because after loosing my phone I logged in my apple account on my friend's phone to put my fone on lost mode and get a notification if someone connects it with internet. After an hour of losing it I got a notification and a map saying the location of my lost fone and then it was turned of again. I got screenshots and proofs of that map and notifications as well, so that's crazy thing for me to understand that why they denied my claim. I called AIG and requested them for investigation. And on 4th of April they again unapproved my claim. Then I go to apple store and one of the technical support staff helped me and he checked my device status and confirmed that "find my" was enabled on my phone. On 5th of April with his help I again submitted the claim with proof that "find my" was enabled, the AIG told me to wait for 5-7 business days. On Friday 12th I ring them again for update, but didn't get any updates on my claim and they submitted escalation follow-up for the claim, they told me to wait for more 1-2 business days and gave me assurance that I'll get response on this Wednesday(17-04-2024). But I didn't get any response or update on my claim. And the crazy thing is that they are DEDUCTING Insurance amount from my account and I don't even have a phone.

So, I'm a master's student and I'm struggling with my final semester projects. I lost my phone and it's now more then 3 weeks that I'm trying to be patient. But this is badly affecting my mental health. I'm soooo stressed I can't focus on my studies. What is the purpose of insurances? To support you or affect your mental health ?. I have called hundreds of times AIG and heard same response. This is my first ever apple product and Im having most worst experience. Can you please help me what step should I take next because I'm suffering a lot from this situation.
