"Accountsd wants to use your confidential information stored in AppleIDClientIdentifier in your keychain"

I take my personal online security and privacy seriously. So, when logging into Apple on my MB, I was alarmed to see the message I received after entering my password, which stated: "Accountsd wants to use your confidential information stored in AppleIDClientIdentifier in your keychain."

I have no idea what "Accountssd" is, what program or app is related to it. So, I selected the "?" in the message's window. This opened the "macOS User Guide" and displayed the following "info:" The selected content is currently unavailable The content you selected can’t be displayed at this time. Try again later. The message goes on but provides no info or help.

before I enter my password and potentially expose my confidential info to who knows who, how do I determine which program is going to access my confidential information, what or who is "Accountsd," and how to determine the origin of future similar requests.

Thanks in8 advance,

Accountd is native Apple dameon

It is built into the operating system

If one were to open Activity Monitor >> View >> View All Processes

Type accountd in top right, it would present much like in image below

To see what files the " accountd " is using

In the Menu of Activity Monitor where the arrow in point and click it

Then see 2nd image and use the " Open Files and Ports "

All the files that are open or infuse on this computer ( mine ) are related to various other Apple Processes
