I am unable to bring email accounts online on my Mac after using ‘Clean My Mac'

Hi all, hope you can help! Yesterday I downloaded the ‘clean my Mac’ app cleaned a load of junk off my macbook. However now I can no longer access my email accounts on servers IMAP or SMTP - both of which are showing as offline. I can’t bring them online via ‘online status’ so I think I must have accidentally deleted something important during the clean! Emails work ok on my phone - just not my MacBook! Please help!! Thank you!

Installing junk-ware like CMM to remove junk is a bad idea.

1) Uninstall CMM as per the developers instructions.

2) Startup in Safe Mode followed by a normal Restart.

3) Then see if you can re-add your Mail Accounts.
