Converting CDA files for use on MacBook Pro

My MacBook Pro currently uses macOS Monterey version 12.1 I am trying to figure out how to convert CDA files that were sent to me from a relative who uses a PC. All the files are sequentially names/numbered starting with Track01.cda and so on. None of the online videos or directions I found through Google or YouTube work or match what I am supposed to see on screen. Can someone provide step-by-step instructions? I have tried using apps I found such as Music Transfer for iTunes, and, To MPS Converter Lite to no avail. Thanks in advance.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.1
