Why does my iPhone say it’s charging even when it isn’t plugged in?

My iPhone 13 hasn’t been turning on, and when out on the charger it takes over an hour to turn on and awhile for it to reach a certain percentage. I don’t think it’s the battery itself but maybe my charger or port. While it’s not plugged in, it still shows the charging symbol.
