I cannot find my Mac HD in Finder (MacMini on Ventura) - where are the locations listed?
Here is a screen shot of Finder sidebar. You can see there is only limited entries. So where is my Mac HD? Why isn't it listed? Where else do I look? Very frustrating!

With a new Finder window opened, select Finder from the menu bar, then select Settings. Then select Sidebar, and finally, select Hard disks.

Finder menu -> Preferences -> Sidebar -> Locations should be enabled. Removable volumes may need to be checked.
Alternatively, use the Go menu to pick Computer. That will show all available hard drives.
In Finder > Settings > Sidebar (at top of the Finder Settings window), in the Locations section, select "[name] iMac"and "Hard asks."

Many thanks for pointing this out. I would never have found it.
Back in the day when I used my Snow Leopard OS, Finder showed everything by default so it was highly confusing for me to see key locations missing in Ventura.
Now I have been shown the 'settings' it seems so simple of course.
I am a lifelong Windows user and only a part time and sporadic Mac user, hence I don't intuitively know where to find things on the Mac.
