Macbook Pro serial number does not pass the service check on the website

Please help me!

Why can’t the serial number appear on the website? It says "You must enter the correct serial number". Why might this happen? Is it a fake? Or some kind of website error?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.4

Copy & paste the system serial number from "About This Mac" which can be accessed by clicking the Apple menu.

It is very easy to mix up some letters & numbers in the serial number. Examples are:

zero and the letter "Oh"

one and the letters "eye" and "ELL"

2 & Z

5 & S

8 & B

6 & G
