AirPod Pro Mic refusing to Unmute

For whatever reason when I am trying to use Discord calls or just calls in general on my phone my AirPods refuse to unmute. It isn’t like I am muffled on their end but there is absolutely nothing coming through. When I press the button to unmute or possibly mute the AirPods all I get is the sound of them muting up, they refuse to play the sound of unmuting ie. Refusing to unmute.

I have tried forgetting and reconnecting them, cleaning the mic and at this point I feel like I need to go back into apple to get them replaced for the third time now.
