New email address required

I am a longtime user of a Bigpond email account. With the changes that have taken place in the last year or so, I have had nothing but issues with the account and have decided to change addresses.

What is everyone's recommendations for the best email type to get to replace my Telstra Bigpond one?

I use Outlook on my MacBook and my iPhone. With Bigpond I can't get the Calendar or Contacts to work using Outlook on iPhone so happy to change back to Apple Mail app so long as it will sync with my MacBook Outlook account.

Any and all advise greatly appreciated as I am losing patience with my current setup!
