Apple car play

Have iPhone 15 with latest updates and Sony car stereo with all the latest updates. Car play will not work on iPhone 15 but will work with my older iPhone 13.

I have a 2017 Nissan Murano andcan not install Car Play on my new iphone12 (used) . Car play works for my SE8 and Iphone 11. no matter what I try new usb cable etc i can not install Car Play . Car play works formy SE 8 and I phone 11.

Does Iphone 6s support Apple Car Play? Upgrading my car stereo to Apple Play and it says on IPHONE X & above are supported.
