Logic Pro X Blinking at Playhead

Hello,

Whenever I start the playback, the playhead sits there and blinks 2-3 times for exactly one beat of time then starts. This is messing up my vocal tracks as the melodyne plug ins start running when I start the playback, resulting in the audio being exactly 1 beat ahead. I never turned on any kind of delay on the playback, I've turned all of my vocal plugins off (except melodyne), I've tried changing the buffer size (currently at 128), and my CPU has stayed around 25%. Moving the melodyne information a beat later does solve the issue, but I'd like to just solve the root problem.

Before this issue, my playhead kept leaping around 3 beats backward whenever I pressed play (again, there was no predelay set on the playhead), but that issue has been replaced by this new one.

I'm running logic 10.7.9 and my computer is a 2021 M1 chip MacBook Pro running Monterey.
