Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
In Logic when I go to preview a new kit piece element to sub into my DMD, the preview is extremely delayed to the point that it starts glitching and wont preview a sound if i go too fast. The samples play fine out of the browser but its just when i audition it from the library. My samples are stored on a T7 ssd and i have an M1 max so shouldnt be any issues with speed. Any suggestions?

I’ve not heard of any issues like yours. Are you using a hub? And plugging your Ssd into a high speed port? Also if you have a midi keyboard plugged into the same hub it could be causing a voltage issue and creating the glitch. You might want a powered hub with high speed ports. L ppl
Hi! Thanks for your reply. However I don’t think this is the issue as my laptop was plugged in and I always plug my SSD directly into the USB C port. I also run pro tools and ableton and never get any latency loading samples. Seems to be only samples downloaded as part of the logic pro pack. also my drive is APFS so that shouldn’t be an issue.
DMD: Logic's preview for a kit pieces is extremely delayed. How do I fix this?
