My iphone lock screen photo is automatically blurred

Does anybody else find it incredibly annoying that the lock screen wallpaper is blurred at the top automatically and you cannot change it? I am so sick of these changes that we cannot edit ourselves. Stop this ******** Apple give us the choice to do what we wanna do with our pictures on our phone. Before anyone responds to say anything about a blur button in the bottom right corner that is not on the lock screen. That blur button that you can turn off and on is on the homepage. That is not the lock screen. Is there going to be a fix to this?
