Blurred lockscreen image at the top

Until now, the lockscreen image is still blurry when you set anything on it. It wrecks the images we have and it is infuriating.

I was expecting a fix to this since we're already at iOS 18.0.1 but it's still the same. C'mon, please address this.

Open the photo you want to use for your lockscreen wallpaper and use the edit tool to resize it as wallpaper. Then choose it and it won't blur at the top.

In iOS 18

Open the photo

Tap the sliders, second from bottom right on the screen

Tap crop

There is a box to the right of Reset at the top and tap it, then slide over to Wallpaper and tap it.

Then tap done
