Home Hub Confusion?

I recently introduced a standalone home hub with my mixed Amazon Echo HomePod Mini household. Everything was working great (for the past week) until this morning when I could no longer make phone calls from my HomePod Minis nor control any of my accessories (1 Hunter SmartFan and 1 Yale AsureLock 2). Could the standalone home hub be confusing my HomePod Mini’s? Thanks for the replies
