Alarms for future calendar dates

Is there any way to start a petition to Apple to create this basic, frequently used function? I’m an iPhone user for a year now, and it’s a function I used often on my Samsung android phone.

I set notices on my calendar for appts, but the alert is not the same as an alarm. I’m not tech savvy, however, it seems simple to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Please, Apple, please create this function…
