Weather Channel app not rotating on new iPad Pro Gen 6

Even if you’re not a FOX fan, download their free weather app. It does everything the weather channel app does and you can view it in portrait mode.

I canceled my subscription because of this Landscape-only view. Why would you ever take this option away? I’ve written the channel and if I get a response I’ll post here.

TWC landscape only feature is enslaving. I grew up liking choice. Give me back my choice.

please return to portrait view on the weather channel app. My husband used to use it daily and is now looking for a new app for his information on current weather.

Joining the others to let you know not having a choice of viewing brings forth a different choice of weather app.

Restore rotation on Weather Channel app and we don’t need radar taking up 2/3 of the screen. Some of us want the forecast more than the stories to be prominent. Switching to Atlanta Channel 2 weather app. Will be cancelling Premium subscription.

I uninstalled mine…. I am looking for a replacement for both my iPad and iPhone…. My subscription does not end until November when it is up for renewal. I don’t think that is enough time for them to reverse this change. Regardless, there are plenty of weather apps to make a good replacement. Good luck to the rest of you and I wish you a good day!

For the decision you have made, I have made the decision not to renew my subscription. Thanks for forcing me to like what the TWC likes rather what the customer likes.

I thought I was the only one. I always use my iPad upright. Not landscape. Please fix! I get angry when I have to turn it? And I agree the daily view is not as user friendly.
