I am on the verge of needing more space in the cloud due to books that I purchased, read and no longer want. I have tried multiple searches on the web and within Apple however all of the instructions I have found are to remove from my phone or to hide. Either option leaves the book in the cloud. Does anyone know how to delete anything from the cloud?

Purchased books from the Apple Books app are not stored in iCloud. Only PDFs and ePub books you transfer to it and synced to iCloud. For these, deleting them from the device will also delete them from iCloud.
