OneDrive files are still read-only

I have recently switched to iPhone from Android. I use OneDrive a lot, both personally as well as professionally. I have been having this issue where I can't upload files or create folders into my OneDrive from the native Apple Files app.

I found this ongoing discussion (Onedrive read only - Apple Community) about the ‘read only’ issue with OneDrive in the Files App from back in 2021. It seemed to work intermittendly for some people, and not for others. Also depending on the app version, this read-only issue sometimes appeared, sometimes dissapeared.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Have you found a solution for it?

I have/had this issue for a long time. Most recently, it no longer says "ready only" but it is effectively read only. I can create new folders, but attempting to move, copy, or duplicate files gives me the error message "The file couldn't be copied because it either doesn't exist or the folder it is being copied to doesn't exist. Since the OneDrive app for iOS is hot garbage, I'm stuck with using a less-than-ideal 3rd party solution.
