I just subscribe for ICloud premium storage which is 1000 GB available and I cannot make the 16.7.7 update in my iPad Pro because it says not enough space, they said I need at least 3.57 GB, would you please tell me what is wrong.

I just got a subscription for ICloud premium for $3.99 per month and they said that I have 1000 GB available. I was just trying to do an IPodOS 16.7.7 update but it doesn’t let me do it, it tells me that this update cannot be installed because I requires at least 3.57 GB of available storage during installation.

iPad Pro, iPadOS 15

iCloud Storage and your device's local storage capacity are 2 different things.

Buying more iCloud storage will not change the available space on your device which is needed for the update.
